Add a touch of romance to your home with these 7 heartwarming plants

There is a feeling of love floating in the air. Romance and passion fill the air as Valentine’s Day (or any other day that celebrates love) approaches. Plants make a wonderful gift for Valentine’s Day because they are practical and beautiful. Some plant shapes and hues are beautiful enough to inspire lasting affection. Here are seven comforting plants that bring romance to your home or garden, perfect for Valentine’s Day or any other romantic occasion.

1. Bleeding hearts

Lamprocapnus spectailis, or bleeding heart, gets its unusual name from the way its swollen white flowers fall in a heart shape. The USDA hardiness zone range in which this plant thrives is 3-9. In the spring, the flowers will bloom and fill you with joy. Extreme temperatures prevent flowering, making it difficult to grow indoors.

2. Anturius Andreanus

The lovely Anthurium adrenum would be an ideal gift for your loved one on Valentine’s Day. The dark green leaves give off a cool, tropical vibe, while the crimson spathes radiate a furious ardor. This is a low maintenance plant. It needs frequent watering and bright, indirect light to thrive.

3. Dear Hoya

Sweetheart hoya, as the name suggests, is a simple way to increase the romantic atmosphere in your home. The leaves of this succulent are thick and waxy and heart-shaped. From a single heart-shaped leaf a thick green heart-shaped line can develop. This succulent can survive with little water and little sunlight. For the best harvest, plant it in bright indirect light and water it once a month.

4. Angel Vine Plant

Angel ine is a low-maintenance houseplant. It blooms with abundant, diffuse light and typical indoor humidity. Angel Vine is one of a kind because it responds well to training and can be used to make an attractive topiary. This bushy plant can be trained to produce more branches by pruning. As can be seen, the plant can be molded into a heart shape.

5. The thread of hearts

When grown as a hanging plant, string of hearts adds a charming touch of romance to any outdoor setting. The leaves of this succulent fall gracefully in the shape of a heart. It may have a hint of violet in warmer, brighter tones. An attractive shrub with a soft lavender tint.

6. Conophytum hearts

This adorable little heart-shaped succulent is a rare find. The heart-shaped leaves of the succulent are thick and fleshy. Its erect shape makes it an exceptional landscape specimen. Conophytum heart can grow in full light and blooms with beautiful orange flowers in fall.

7. Caladio rojo

A red caladium, like the one seen above, is a symbol of a change in fortune. It makes a beautiful houseplant for display due to its dark crimson leaves. This plant thrives in bright indirect light and high humidity.
